My Muffin by Tribalchick101
My Muffin
Took this snap of my beautiful little girl Missy, although i call her Muffin or Missy Muffin more often than not hehe :D
Just over a year old now, we adopted her from the Animal Welfare League when she was a 15 week old baby. She is a greyish brown Tabby and had a twin brother who was also very sweet, unfortunately we couldn't adopt him as well. Took this snap today when she was snuggled up in 'her' quilt, what a sweet little girl, wouldn't you agree!

Edited a tad in Photoshop, went for a semi-high contrast, grainy style so let me know what you think!
Happy Australia Day to all my fellow Aussies! Oi Oi Oi!!!!!
It's official, I got a tattoo today guys
I'm getting inked on Thursday everyone!!

Hello hello to all my wonderful fans (who am i kidding right there...) anyways, i just thought i would throw a general life update out there into the cosmic void for anyone who's interested to read. Although, who really reads this crap right? If your highlight of the day is reading a bland journal update from this even more bland, overly sarcastic 18-yr old girl, then wow, do you need to get out more... You may need to strap into your chair, this is gonna be a wild and exciting ride, so without further ado.....

So at the start of the year i began a Certificate III Digital Arts course through Tafe SA, which began a bit slow and too easy, but soon turned out to be very entertaining, and well worthwhile. Although I already knew most of the stuff we were being taught, i still learnt a few new things here and there and built up a bit more skill blah blah blah. So yep, that was great and now i have a albeit small yet official qualification under my belt that i can now slap on my resume!

Anyway, that finished a couple of months ago and not long after i scored myself a job at Hungry Jacks, however, me being a person who absolutley cannot handle fast-paced, stressful environments.. well, let's just say, that job didn't last very long. I was/am kinda ashamed of that, but when something just isn't suited to you and isn't working out, then that's it right? Which brings us to part 3 of this epic saga...

My family and i have been planning a holiday for around a year now, so after i packed it in at Hungry Jacks, we sorta decided that i would wait until after the holiday (which we leave for in 3 days!!) to start looking for another job so i have been bumming around home (which i'm also not proud of), helping out with jobs around here and still brushing up my artistic skill and then in three days time we head off for our holiday! So once we get back, the job hunt begins again. And hopefully i got accepted into the Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design (also at Tafe) which begins at the start of next year!

Told you it was an exciting story (note the sarcasm.. again)

Awesome Things I've Watched/Played/Eaten Etc..

INK MASTERS - An epic new show that started on Australian TV this year, its given me a whole new appreciation-fascination with tattoos and tattoo artists. God bless Tommy Helm, you are officially now one of my idols and you TOTALLY SHOULD HAVE ONE, YOU ARE AN AMAZING ARTIST

ASSASSIN'S CREED: BLACK FLAG - Hands down my favourite of all the Assassin's Creed games, all of which i have played multiple times. But there was just something extra special about Black Flag that i fell in love with. Probably because im a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan, so Black Flag was like the PotC game we were never given. So i am super excited for Assassin's Creed: Rogue when it is released for 360 in November, as i am not the owner of an XBox One so i can't get AC: Unity. But AC: Rogue looks even better in my opinion!

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER + X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - Now, let's just take a moment to talk about these two masterpieces!! I can't even describe my love for the Marvel movie universe (both X-Men and Avengers) so to have both of these epic-ly amazing movies out in short succession just made my whole year. Hands down, both are the best sequels for each side of the movie universe. Marvel did it yet again!!

300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE - I have to disagree with every complaint people made about this movie, i thought it was so damned awesome, epic, cool, exciting, visually intriguing and deliciously brutal that now i've bought the Bluray, i can't stop watching it! I loved it just as much, maybe even a bit more than the first 300, so all the people that disliked this movie can kiss my a**!!

MINI QUICHES -  I rediscovered the excellence of mini bacon and cheese quiches, enough said.

MOCKINGJAY PART 1 - Even though it's not out for awhile yet, im still making a note of it here, i literally can't wait. Im definitely going to make a point to re-read the book soon.

SARSPARILLA AND JEREMY RENNER - My ridiculous love for both continues. Period.

Phewwwww okay... I think that's all for now folks, hope the few of you who read this enjoy it and i'll see y'all later!!

Yours Sincerely,
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: Amaranthe
  • Reading: Macbook keyboard
  • Watching: Letters scrolling across the screen
  • Drinking: Sarsparilla

Hello! I really like your patronus artwork! I saw on some of them they said that they were requested by deviants. I don't know if they're free or not, but I think a cool idea for a patronus would be a tiger XD
